Welcoming a new baby into the home is a major event!  Many young children (especially when this is the second child) struggle with the initial transition of sharing in half of the parents attention.  But what a gift they are gaining!

The new baby transition can be short lived by preparing your child, and remaining consistent in your expectations and freedom and limits.

Once the transition settles in, and the new baby is part of the routine, sibling relationships begin to bloom.  For the parents, sibling relationships will be filled with the most beautiful of times, the most chaotic of times, and often the most confusing of times.

Together we will work to make the transition as smooth as possible, respecting your child's natural rhythm of accepting the new baby into the home.  From there we will work together to help guide this budding relationship between the siblings.
